"It would have been exceptional, had it not been for the underwriters LAST minute MINUTIA requests. Julie and Liz were amazing. Responsive, helpful, and professional. Liz, in particular, toward the end, kept things calm and encouraging even though the underwriter asked for a ridiculous amount of last minute requests. It caused an unnecessary amount of stress...very frustrating. I have asked for the name of the underwriter, because I wanted to send feedback to their boss. I understand the need to document. But the level of minutia and the last minute aspect of it, it seemed like they were searching for something that just didn't exist. It almost cost us a delay... thankfully, the closing manager stepped it up and we were able to get funding and closed on friday of the 20th. With only a slight delay."

"I was referred to Movement Mortgage; I did not select them after reviewing several other lenders. Julie is amazing. She communicated well the following steps and what would be needed, and worked diligently to complete them. Her assistant, Liz, on the other hand, was very frustrating to work with. Liz came off as very automated. She didn't seem to know or care about us, the purchasers. I had corrected her multiple times about my specific account, and it was still mislabeled or called the wrong thing. I would be badgered over and over about completing a loan task when there was nothing I could do, and my time, regular business hours, and work were never considered. I often considered stopping the entire process and seeking out a different lender altogether, curious if this interaction was everyday or distasteful, but did not want to risk losing the house due to finances. We got it done, and I am pleased it's over That said, it cannot be denied that Movement Mortgage completed a tricky loan, which they worked very hard to accomplish. I would recommend them to anyone less sensitive than myself and more experienced in purchasing homes, as that would be a better fit. I would not recommend them to any first-time buyer who needs more than superficial guidance."
