"Better communication between the departments within Movement. At least twice, I was asked for additional information pertaining to a document that was sent to underwriting, and then, after I had to get others to get the question answered, I was asked for additional information about something else on the document and had to go back thru the same process again! Each time this happened, the end result was another day added to the loan approval and the ability ro get the closing done. The delay with closing combined with a lack of communication within Movement, resulted in the blame for the delay and roughly $1600 in fees being charged to me, causing some confusion and ill feelings. It was all worked out and I'm very pleased with that, however, with better communication between departments there at Movement, the extra time for getting the additional information requested would not have b en a factor. It all worked out in the end but the extra stress from having to deal with ge everyone on the same page was upsetting. Everything is good now and we're enjoying our new home, but it could have gone smoother. Thank you and have a great day!"

"I'm not 100% sure where the miscommunication was between the whole closing team (Moore/Alphin, Smith-Douglas, Movement, etc), but our closing got delayed by a day and it was VERY stressful. We received the final disclosure less than 24 hours in advance so our wire didn't hit in time for us to get the keys on closing day. We already had a moving truck full of furniture that needed to be moved in. Luckily we were able to move it into my in-laws garage. The delay doubled the amount of physical labor we had to do and cost us $90 for another moving truck two days later. However, Daniel did a great job. He was curteous, prompt in his responses to our emails, and very knowledgeable. Overall I'd recommend him knowing that our case is not fully dependent on him, but other people who probably dropped the ball. We really appreciate everything he's done for us. We have a beautiful new home because of his help."

"All loan processing staff were great to work with. I still think the rates were above market but subsidized with lender and seller credits. I would have preferred more competitive rates without me having the burden of proof to shop and show LEs from elsewhere. Overall worked out ok. Not for Movement, but for DFH - will never work with them or recommend them to any of my clients. Home is closed but is still not usable!"
