THE MOVEMENT
We Love & Value
Movement was created to be different. Founded in 2008, amidst one of the biggest financial meltdowns in American history, Movement set forth on a mission to create a Movement of Change in our industry, in corporate cultures and in communities.
First, we pioneered a unique approach to home loans centered around helping homebuyers, quickly and easily. Then, we created a model so that our profit creates a long-term positive impact in communities both close to home and around the globe.
For our borrowers, we commit to building relationships based on communication. We get it home loans can be confusing and stressful – But they don’t have to be. And we work to make sure they aren’t.
It all comes back to our mission, to love and value people in everything we do.
Growing For Good
Movement has donated $377m to the Movement Foundation to make an impact on local communities.
Mortgages That Mean More
We use our profits to help our communities and create a brighter future for everyone. More homes, more impact, more support, more growth, more schools. With every home closing, we open doors to more.
Mortgages that mean more impact
The Movement Foundation is the vessel we use to pour profits back into communities. We uplift others by funding much-needed infrastructure, education and support to underserved areas in the U.S. and around the world.
Our projects are intentionally designed to be self-sustaining, which is why our schools, health clinics and housing projects can flourish without ongoing fundraising.
Mortgages that mean more schools
The biggest projects funded by our Foundation are Movement Schools, a network of public charter schools committed to teaching world-class academics and virtues in areas where families have historically lacked access to education options.
Through personalized learning, incredible teachers and character education, we’re preparing a new generation of students for success in college, careers and life. In 2021, we committed to opening 100 schools in 10 years.
Mortgages that mean more support
When a Movement employee is faced with a personal crisis, Love Works is here to help alleviate the burden with financial assistance. This initiative is 100% employee-funded.
For a decade, Love Works has helped Movement employees through personal crises and financial hardship. It’s one way that our team can love each other by providing a helping hand when it's needed most.
Mortgages that mean more giving
Impact Lending means working with companies who help us create even more positive change in our communities. By partnering with Karis AMC and their KM Foundation, Movement employees have successfully nominated and presented $10,000 GraceWorks grants to hundreds of nonprofits nationwide.
This is one way Movement works to create a nationwide community of generosity. When homebuyers pick Movement, the impact keeps multiplying.

Homeownership
Homeownership should be accessible to everyone, regardless of race, background, and country (or community) of origin. We’re committed to providing buyers with the support, tools and resources they need.
Movement is dedicated to building a greater comunidad of Latino and Hispanic homeowners. Comunidad is our initiative to increase homeownership among Spanish-speaking communities through financial education, a team of bilingual loan officers, relationships with bilingual real estate agents and a digital mortgage experience entirely in Spanish all the way from application through closing.
It’s time for Black Americans to unlock the doors of possibility, opportunity and wealth associated with homeownership. Grab The Key is Movement’s initiative focused on educational empowerment through classes, community events and other resources needed to close the homeownership gap. We want to show our communities that homeownership is possible no matter what you look like.
