Movement Mortgage, a national top 10 retail mortgage lender, is excited to welcome to the team two powerhouses in the mortgage banking industry with the addition of the Karen Rhodes Lending Team and Jason Adams Lending Team in Georgia.

Karen Rhodes (NMLS 6152), a seasoned professional with over two decades in the industry, brings a wealth of experience as a senior loan officer. Her prolific career boasts a remarkable production history, surpassing a volume of over $70 million in 2023 alone. Her dedication and skill in navigating the intricate landscape of loans and financial markets have earned her a reputable stance within the industry. Joining Movement was a deliberate choice driven by a desire to harness the innovative marketing strategies, extensive range of products, and unique cultural dynamics that the company offers. Rhodes’ enthusiasm resonates in her pursuit of leveraging these attributes to maximize opportunities while fostering a positive work environment.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Rhodes finds her roots nestled in Buford, GA, where she shares her life with a loving family. Married and a proud mother of three sons, she also cherishes the joy of being a grandmother to four grandchildren. Her commitment to excellence in her career seamlessly intertwines with her dedication to family, creating a balance that propels her forward in both personal and professional spheres.

Jason Adams (NMLS 21425), a mortgage lending professional with 18 years of experience in the financial industry, has honed his knowledge in new construction lending, marking a niche within his career. With an impressive annual production exceeding $50 million, Adams’ proficiency and strategic acumen have consistently delivered exceptional results. His journey to Movement Mortgage stemmed from a deliberate quest for a new professional haven. Despite exploring numerous options and interviewing with 17 different companies, it wasn't until he crossed paths with Movement that he sensed a genuine fit. The allure of Movement's culture, coupled with its profound impact on communities, resonated deeply with Adams, igniting an excitement for a change he had been longing for. His conviction in this new chapter reflects a profound sense of alignment between personal ethos and professional aspirations.

On the personal front, Adams’ roots are firmly planted in Georgia, having moved from Marietta to Cherokee County in 1998, finding a place he's called home ever since. Family plays a central role in his life, sharing it with his wife Nikki and their son Stephen, an Army veteran currently pursuing his Masters. Their household expands beyond human companionship to include four rescue dogs: the venerable 16-year-old Boston Terrier named Whompers, Ella Monster the 15-year-old Bull Terrier, a petite French Bulldog named Freedom, and Taylor, a stray turned family member. Adams and family embrace an active lifestyle, with a passion for mountain biking, snowboarding and wake surfing. Notably, Adams continues to fuel his passion for motocross, occasionally racing alongside his son, embracing both adrenaline and family camaraderie.
