Movement Mortgage, a top 10 national retail mortgage lender, is proud to announce Chief Commercial Officer Michelle Donnelly has been named one of HousingWire's Women of Influence.

The annual accolade honors outstanding women executives and leaders in the housing and mortgage industry. Donnelly is recognized in the August edition of HousingWire Magazine. Donnelly, the article states, has been "the driving force in the company's corporate strategy development and execution over the past year … by building consensus, challenging and coaching her colleagues and leading by example through her service to others."

She joins Movement Chief Financial Officer Laura Bowles, who received the same honor in 2017.

"Michelle Donnelly is a gifted servant leader that we're honored to work alongside at Movement," Movement Chief Executive Casey Crawford says. "She is an innovator who challenges us to raise the bar in how we serve our customers and business partners. She is a coach and mentor to Movement's next generation of talent. And her perspective in and out of our industry makes her a trusted adviser to our executive suite. This honor is well deserved."

Donnelly joined Movement Mortgage in March 2017 as the company's first Chief Commercial Officer. She brings two decades of corporate leadership experience to the role and works across business functions to help Movement achieve its business objectives, implement commercial strategy and continue to develop as an organization.

A graduate of Harvard Business School, Donnelly previously led a progressive, 20-year career at Eli Lilly and Company, one of the leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies in the world. Within this $21-billion enterprise, Donnelly most recently served as an executive leader within its largest business unit, Lilly Biomedicines. She led a team of more than 200 while overseeing the development of the commercialization strategy for a late-stage pipeline asset.

Donnelly volunteers with Samaritan's Feet International and the Charlotte Rescue Mission. She resides in Charlotte, N.C., with her husband, Bob, and two sons, Jackson and Griffin.
