KO himself! Kevin formed The KO Team in October 2016, hit the ground running, and hasn’t slowed down since. As team lead, he oversees every part of our operations while still working hands-on with homebuyers, guiding them through the loan process with confidence.

Kevin’s favorite part of the job? He loves the challenge that no two buyers are alike and every situation requires a creative, tailored solution. And he delivers. Kevin ranks in the top 1% of mortgage loan originators nationwide, is the #2 originator among 2,000+ at Movement Mortgage, and has been recognized as a Scotsman Guide Emerging Star.

His path to the mortgage world began with a Business & Finance degree and an MBA from St. Bonaventure University in Western New York. In 2015, eager to leave behind the cold of Buffalo and Pittsburgh, Kevin set his sights on warmer weather and landed in Houston, Texas, where he got his start in the mortgage industry. After learning the ins and outs of mortgages, he saw a gap: Movement Mortgage had no presence in Pittsburgh. Kevin seized the opportunity, brought himself and Movement to the ‘Burgh, and built his business from the ground up. The result? Movement has been ranked the #1 purchase lender in Allegheny County since 2021!

Outside of work, Kevin stays busy with his growing family. Spending time with his wife and two daughters Lena & Kiley, embracing the everyday chaos and joy of being a Girl Dad. Kevin also happens to be a die-hard Buffalo Bills fan, but don’t worry, he still roots for the Steelers as his #2 team!

Greg MacBride, known to the team as “GMAC,” has been with The KO Team since its start in 2016. While his business background gave him a technical know-how, it’s his personal drive to serve others that makes his dual roles of Loan Officer & Team Sales Manager so fulfilling.

Originally from Rochester, NY, Greg graduated from SUNY Fredonia, where he played basketball and developed his strong sense of discipline and teamwork—skills that now serve him well in his day-to-day life with clients. With the KO Team, Greg works with borrowers at all stages of the homebuying and refinancing process. Over the years, he’s earned the nickname “Refi King” for his expertise in refinancing! Every client & Realtor relationship means something to Greg, which is why he’s spent years perfecting his skills at analyzing credit, verifying diverse income types, and ensuring all pipeline operations are running smoothly. When asked what he enjoys most about the job, Greg doesn’t hesitate, “I’ve always loved helping people, and what’s more meaningful than guiding them through one of the biggest decisions of their lives?”

Outside of work, Greg embraces the suburban dad life in the South Hills with his wife and their three young children. When Greg has a free weekend, he enjoys pool days with family & friends

Kyle began his career with Movement Mortgage in 2018 and joined The KO Team in 2022. Introduced to the mortgage world through Kevin and the original team that brought Movement Mortgage to Pittsburgh, Kyle jumped at the opportunity to grow with the organization.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from D’Youville University and years of solid experience, Kyle combines expertise with a genuine passion for helping clients. He loves working closely with his teammates and helping customers, especially first-time homebuyers, start their exciting journey to homeownership!

When he’s not working, the team knows exactly where to find him: on the basketball court, playing softball, kickball, or golf—or out for a walk with his dog, Gia.

Backed by a degree in Accounting and a strong foundation in financial services, David launched his career in 2017 when he joined forces with The KO Team. Since then, Dave has built a reputation for his thorough understanding of lending practices and his unwavering commitment to client success. Known to many as “Mr. Do It ALL,” he brings a versatile, hands-on approach to every aspect of the loan process.

His goal is to ensure each client feels informed and confident from application to closing. What he enjoys most is getting to know the homebuyers he works with and hearing the stories behind their journeys.

When he's not serving clients, David enjoys fishing, golfing, and hiking with his wife and their two dogs.

Greg joined The KO Team in 2019 as our second “Greg”, and he’s been guiding clients from contract to closing ever since. With a background in sales, he was driven to make a more meaningful impact. During Greg’s own homebuying journey, he financed with The KO Team after being introduced to Kevin by a longtime Realtor partner. Not long after, he officially joined the team and has since played a major role in getting loans to the closing table!

Working closely with our processor, Melissa, the two form a powerhouse duo, coordinating with clients, agents, and everyone involved to get each loan to the finish line. Greg’s commitment to the process comes from his genuine passion for helping homebuyers achieve their goals. His days are fast-paced, but outside of work, he makes time to slow down and enjoy life with close friends and family.

Favorite thing to do in Pittsburgh? A trip to the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium.

Melissa is our rockstar Processor, and naturally she has THREE Movement Mortgage Rockstar Awards to prove it! While her journey with Movement started in 2015, Melissa joined The KO Team in 2018 and has been continuously processing loans in record time since.

She chose this career because she wanted to make a difference and help people achieve their dreams of owning a home. Her favorite parts of the job are getting the “Clear to Close” email and seeing the pictures of happy homebuyers at closings!

When Melissa isn’t breaking records for how quickly our borrowers get cleared to close, you’ll find her spending time with her family and animals, traveling, seeing Broadway Musicals, and diving into a good book.

Melissa's Bachelor's degree in Communication with a double minor in Management & Psychology certainly has prepared her for this role, as she has the opportunity to interact with every single client who closes with The KO Team.

Favorite thing to do in Pittsburgh? Melissa’s not from Pittsburgh, but loves to come into town and walk around Market Square during the holidays to see all the Christmas booths.

Britt found her place with The KO Team in early 2022 as Marketing Coordinator. Growing up in a construction family & armed with an RMU degree in Communication, stepping into the housing industry felt like coming home. In 2024, her younger sister even joined the team, taking over her original role!

Now, as Business Development Manager, Brittany’s passion lies in building relationships with the people who matter most: our incredible homebuyers and realtors. Whether she’s at a closing meeting a newly engaged couple juggling wedding planning and homeownership or a growing family who just found their perfect place in the suburbs, those moments fuel her love for what we do.

When she’s not bouncing between closings, coffee shops, or open houses around Pittsburgh, you’ll find her at a local winery, out on the water, or in the mountains.

Favorite thing to do in Pittsburgh? As any true Pittsburgher will tell you—nothing beats belting out “Renegade” at a Steelers game or dancing at a summer concert at Star Lake.

As Marketing Coordinator, Maria works to promote our rockstar team and share the why behind what we do at Movement. After seeing how much fun her sister Brittany was having as a member of The KO Team, she had no choice but to join her in 2024! From email and print marketing to social media, event planning, and everything in between, Maria is all about all things marketing. And if you call the office and your LO is on the other line, there’s a good chance she’ll be the one picking up!

Outside of showcasing gorgeous homes around Pittsburgh on our social media pages, her favorite part of the job is seeing long-time house hunters finally get that “clear to close” email for their dream home.

Maria holds a degree in Communication from Saint Vincent College (the infamous home of Steelers training camp) and a Master’s degree in Corporate Communication from Duquesne University. When she’s not convincing the team to do something mildly ridiculous for content (click here to see what we mean), you’ll probably find her working on a DIY project or boating on the Mon River.
