"Sylvia was wonderful. However, she had a scheduled (well deserved) vacation during the processing of our loan. In her absence, we experienced difficulty reaching members of the team, there was a lack of response to our emails and we got a general feeling that our loan was on the back burner. It was a complicated loan (203K) and while we understood that these types of loans take longer, there were several delays and we were left wondering what the situation was. While the initial delay was due to our inability to find the right contractor for the job, the other were frustrating and seemed to mostly center around the appraisal, which in my opinion was not up to the standard that it could have been. Also, I want to add that Sylvia jumped in and enlisted the help of the FHA consultant to assist us in finding a good contractor which got the process going again. If it had not been for Sylvia's dedication and perseverance, we very probably would have walked away from this deal."
