Jeffrey Neilsen, Branch Leader of Team Neilsen, returns to Movement Mortgage, to better serve Virginia homebuyers & industry partners

October 21, 2021

FAIRFAX, VA — Movement Mortgage, a national top 10 retail mortgage lender, is excited to announce the return of Jeffrey and Amanda Neilsen and Team Neilsen, to provide more thorough coverage to the home buying market in the Washington DC suburbs and Fairfax County, Virginia.

With close to 20 years in the real estate and finance industry, Jeffrey Neilsen (NMLS ID #193504) has focused on mortgage banking and has aggregated a diverse experience over many market situations and economic changes. He is dedicated to customer service and helping homebuyers consider the journey of building wealth through real estate.

Team NeilsenThis year, Jeffrey was recognized by Scotsman Guide as one of the top loan originators nationwide in both the most loans closed and top dollar volume. In 2020, Neilsen was recognized by Virginia Housing (formerly VHDA) as the #1 VA housing lender in all of Northern Virginia! Additionally, Team Neilsen offers clients first-time homebuyer education and advice on self-employed borrower lending, second home investments, jumbo loans, and credit advising.

This is not Jeffrey's first time working with Movement. Prior to his current role as Branch Leader & Senior Mortgage Loan Officer, Jeffrey spent over six years with First Heritage Mortgage as a Strategic Mortgage Advisor. Just before that, he was a Branch Manager servicing Movement clients in Vienna, Virginia, for two years.

Why the return? “Movement sent a signal that they cared deeply for my family and me,” said Jeffrey, who leads Team Neilsen. “So we're coming back to serve clients and Realtors at the highest level possible. What makes this return so exciting is that Movement's now in a position to help us make our vision a reality.”

“We love that Movement offers the 6-7-1 Process,”* added Amanda Neilsen, Team Manager. “This allows our clients to quickly get approved and then have a clear goal of finishing their loan long before the day of settlement. Combining that with the superior loan education process we already deliver allows us to offer a complete package and serve our clients best.”

“Knowing Jeffrey and Amanda for many years, I am ecstatic about partnering with them to really take their vision for helping people to an entirely new level,” said Market Leader Heather Frye. “As a veteran and top loan officer in the state of Virginia with Virginia Housing, Jeffrey has the experience and knowledge to conquer Northern Virginia and surrounding markets.”

“But what I really get pumped up about, what sets my soul on fire, is how aligned Jeffrey and Amanda are with the Movement culture,” Frye continued. “They believe in serving with their whole hearts and bringing that dedication to every single person that crosses their path. I look forward to walking alongside them, empowering them with the innovative technology and systems already crushing the industry here at Movement, through this new season and next chapter in their business.”
