Movement ranks 7th in nation for offering FHA, VA loans
Strong third quarter shows Movement's growing influence in FHA lending
Movement Mortgage, a top 10 national retail mortgage lender, in the third quarter maintained its top-10 ranking among lenders offering mortgages that encourage homeownership for military veterans, first-time buyers and low- to moderate-income families.
For the months spanning July to September, Movement ranked No. 7 nationwide of all lenders offering loans backed by the Federal Housing Administration with a purchase volume of $862 million, according to Inside Mortgage Finance. That's a more than 4 percent increase from the second quarter when Movement ranked No. 8 among lenders offering FHA loans.
The company also ranked No. 7 among national lenders offering purchase loans guaranteed through the Department of Veterans Affairs, according to the VA.
Overall, Movement ranks No. 8 among all national purchase mortgage lenders with $7.5 billion in purchase volume across 33,237 units. Movement has top five market share in the following markets:
