"Understanding the changes in my credit, I feel like we took a stab at it but in the end I didn’t feel like the answer we got to was correct. I am new to this process so what impact that really has if minimal or not regardless leaves me feeling like I missed something. I do not want to put this all on the lender though, I choose a lot that wouldn’t be ready very soon which made this process difficult in general for me. Communicated with your greater team could be more pleasant. I don’t really care for someone screen capturing my messages and sending them back to me to remind me of my original request when I am asking for something else. It just left a bad taste in my mouth, I am a first time consumer in the arena please try to meet me where I am at. This was a driving force for me to switch lenders. First, I never talked to US bank after our initial meeting because I could not get a hold of them until beazer opened the portal. Where as Movement and Carver had already sent me quotes by then (prior). I don’t need to understand their process just my experience and they never reached out so my business wasn't important. Second, communicating with Carver was easier I am sure there was a team behind the scene I just never delt with them. When I would send a request or change my mind about how I wanted to see an estimate I had it within a day or so with either an explanation or a phone call later to explain it. Always in the same format - This was another small piece of feedback that maybe pertains to me only not sure. I want to learn and understand and not feel like I am starting over in the maze of mortgages. Seeing multiple versions of estimates threw me for a loop, when I felt like I was getting use to one type of loan estimate I would receive a different format. I remember there being 3 variations. I really enjoyed talking to Amanda she was very insightful, and I did take away a lot from those conversations. I am especially happy about the team being able to get me a lower rate after talking through some of the opportunities I was facing. Also, we were able to recognize opportunities to lower my PMI though debt to income ratio options. This review is very middle of the road and I do have highs and lows with the experience but that’s what is probably to be expected the first time going into something. I will probably have certain expectations going forward but that is all apart of the process."
