Movement Mortgage, a national top 10 retail mortgage lender, is excited to announce the addition of Julie Scott to the Southwest Florida market.

Scott started in the mortgage industry in 1997 and has been a loan officer since 1999. She has consistently ranked as one of the top loan officers for her company and last year ranked in the top 1% of all loan originators in the entire country. In 2018, she helped 178 families for $32 million in loan volume. 

Julie's business is 100% referral-based. She has been able to grow her business by delivering consistent, top notch customer service.  "I understand that buying a home is one of the biggest investments many people will make," says Scott. "I love to walk my clients through the process to ensure all of their questions are answered, that they have a clear understanding of the process and what's next and that they feel comfortable."

Scott is most proud of her relationships with her Realtor partners and on keeping them informed about what's going on in the process. Scott frequently holds lunch and learns for her Realtor partners so she can keep them up to date on industry trends and loan programs. "I take a team approach with my realtors, because the more their business grows, the more mine grows."

Scott started with Movement in March 2019. She will serve families in Fort Myers and will report to Market Leader Jonathan Garrick.

Scott has been an active member of the local board of Realtors and Women's Council of Realtors for many years. She was named affiliate of the year and has also served as Treasurer and Secretary.  She teaches homebuyer education classes in the local community and is certified with the local and state bond agencies.

Scott is a Florida native, born and raised in southwest Florida. Her family has a rich history in the area as both of her parents were raised in Fort Myers Beach and both of her grandfathers were local builders. She is married to her husband Tom and has two children, Grace and Zachary.
