Virginia Beach, VA — Movement Mortgage, the nation's sixth-largest retail mortgage lender, has promoted Reggie Register to Market Leader, supporting home financing activity and growth for the company's Hampton Roads, Virginia market. Register will report to Regional Director Clay Duncan.

"Reggie has proven himself a leader as an originator, in his branch, and in the market," says Duncan. "He has a passion for both the industry and his community. He is the ideal candidate to lead our current team and grow our presence in Hampton Roads."

Register [NMLS 92405] brings nearly 20 years of mortgage origination and leadership experience to the job. He joined Movement in 2010 as Branch Manager after serving as Vice President at Numerica Funding. He began his mortgage career as a Wells Fargo loan officer. In his new role, Register will lead a team of loan officers in customer service, production, recruiting, and community engagement.

An alumnus of Old Dominion University, Register resides in Virginia Beach, VA, with his wife, Valerie. The couple has three children, one of whom recently joined Movement Mortgage as a loan originator, and two grandchildren. When not in the office, Reggie can be found practicing martial arts, drag racing, hunting, fishing, or worshipping at his church. He is a volunteer at Grace Bible Church and with the homeless shelter at the Judeo-Christian Outreach Center.
