ATLANTA — Movement Mortgage, a national top 10 retail mortgage lender, has named Theresa Garcia its newest market leader in Atlanta, Georgia.

Garcia joins Movement with 32 years of mortgage industry experience and a production leader in Atlanta. Garcia comes to Movement after her tenure as Senior Vice President of Builder Services at one of Atlanta's top ranked mortgage lenders in the new construction space.  

In her new role, she'll lead a team of loan officers specializing in builders and their clients, customer service, production, recruiting and community engagement. She'll report to Regional Director David Massey. She is joined in Atlanta by fellow market leaders Josh Covett and Lee Johnson.

"I believe Theresa is the perfect fit for this role because of the reputation she has established for herself throughout her career," Massey says. "She has built strong relationships with Atlanta's top builders. She has been in leadership roles throughout her career. She brings a lot of energy to our team. Garcia enjoys spending time with her family, including husband, David, three adult children and two grandchildren. She also enjoys boating, camping and gardening.
