Jason Zavarella joins Movement Mortgage as Team Lead in Connecticut
GLASTONBURY, CT — Movement Mortgage, the nation's sixth-largest retail mortgage lender, is excited to announce the hiring of industry veteran Jason Zavarella as Team Lead/ Loan Officer covering Connecticut.
Zavarella (NMLS #1602628) brings 16 years of home financing experience to Movement, having most recently worked at Caliber Home Loans, AnnieMac Home Mortgage, Freedom Mortgage, and United Bank. His earlier career saw him focusing on mortgage servicing operations at Fiserv Lending Solutions, among other firms. In his role at Movement, Zavarella will be working with homebuyers to help them secure financing on their new home or to help lower the cost of homeownership.
“I worked in a law office in my early 20s that did real estate closings, and I would help the attorney with copies and witnessing,” said Zavarella. “Since then, I've worked in all capacities of the mortgage business from loan origination, processing manager, closer, closing team lead, and foreclosures. With Movement, I'm ready to roll and help people in whatever aspect of the home buying process they're in, whether it be purchasing their first starter home, their dream home, an investment, or even saving someone money through refinancing!”
Zavarella will report to Market Leaders Jeffrey Sutton (NMLS #108239) and Steve Egan (NMLS # 6012), who agreed that “Jay is a perfect fit for what we are building in Connecticut.”
Zavarella, his wife of seven years, and his two children live in South Windsor, CT. The family loves sports, especially NFL football. Surprisingly, Zavarella prefers the LA Rams to the New England Patriots.
