Movement bolsters SoCal presence with Co-Regional Directors Brian Keranen and Eli Fairfield
LOS ANGELES, California — Movement Mortgage, the nation's sixth-largest retail mortgage lender, is excited to announce the hiring of Co-Regional Directors Eli Fairfield and Brian Keranen to head up the Southern California market.
With 20-plus years in finance and mortgage banking, Keranen (NMLS #483697) has been set apart from the competition with his knowledge of the Southern Californian market and his demanding pursuit of complete customer satisfaction. He has been recognized as one of the top 1% of all mortgage loan originators in America. Prior to joining Movement, Keranen was Regional Manager, Southern California West at New American Funding. Previous financial services positions included stints at Bank of America and Newport West Funding.

“As a leader,” said Keranen, “I am committed to supporting my team to help build their business through positive attitudes, innovative collaboration, and tailored marketing strategies. I'm very excited to continue this servant-leadership philosophy at Movement and work alongside my new team to grow our division.”
“Something about Movement that resonated right away is the culture to love and value people. That is such a powerful statement on so many levels,” said Fairfield. “Brian and I are passionate about creating opportunities for as many people as possible in all positions,” he added. “And I'm excited for the growth potential in So Cal with Movement.”
It helps that both men were born and raised in the region.
- Keranen, who hails from La Verne, currently lives in Costa Mesa with Rachel, his wife of 17 years, and their four children. They enjoy playing pickleball, baseball and golf. He graduated from the University of Redlands and spent eight years in the United States Marine Corps and its Reserve component.
