Ryan Cotter joins Movement Mortgage as Market Leader in Chicago
Movement Mortgage, a national top 10 retail mortgage lender, is excited to announce Ryan Cotter has joined the company as a Market Leader in Chicago, Illinois.
Cotter is a 20-year veteran of the mortgage and real estate industries. A Chicago native, Cotter has worked in every level of the business from the ground floor to senior leadership roles in mortgage, construction and real estate ventures. Most recently, he managed a captive mortgage referral relationship with a leading Chicago real estate firm where he was also a President's Club mortgage originator.
At Movement, Cotter will use his experience to leverage his unique brand of leadership, sales training and relationship building to the Chicago and Greater Chicago areas as a Market Leader. He will report to Regional Director James Essen.
"To say I talked to a lot of companies before joining Movement would be an understatement. Movement's servant leadership culture and Realtor focus made the decision easy for me," says Cotter. "The first deal I originated after my move was a condo save deal that another company denied. The speed in which we were able to get the agents an underwritten approval really solidified that I found the right home for my team and me. I am looking forward taking over my market with all the tools Movement has to offer prospective loan officers and supporting personnel. "
Cotter is very active in the community as a philanthropist, multi-family real estate investor, educator and most importantly, a family man.
