Movement Mortgage, a top 10 national retail mortgage lender, has promoted Steve Barker to Regional Director for the Maryland and Delaware markets.

Barker has worked at Movement Mortgage for five years as a market leader in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Delaware. With more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry, specializing in mortgage team management, Barker will continue to lead a strong Movement of Change in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Barker's time at Movement Mortgage has influenced more than volume growth in his region. His involvement in expanding Movement's Thrive culture and its community investments includes his dedication to company-wide giving initiatives and his unwavering commitment to offering reliable support to those that he oversees.
