INDIAN LAND, SC – Movement Mortgage ("Movement"), a national top 10 retail mortgage lender, is expanding its leadership team with the creation of the company's first chief marketing officer position. Jake Fehling, Movement's vice president of marketing, has been promoted to the role.

Fehling joined Movement in 2017 and previously held the roles of vice president, content & social strategy and vice president, communications & public relations. Prior to his career in the financial services industry, Fehling spent four years in executive search in the life sciences, leading senior-level searches in the medical device, biotech and digital health sectors. Fehling's early career was rooted in sports business, where he led international media and marketing operations for the U.S. Olympic Committee, USA Baseball and the International Baseball Federation. 

During his tenure at Movement, Fehling has built a marketing department that is known for industry-leading social media, branding, gear, video content and events. His team provides cutting-edge marketing tools and support for Movement's nationwide sales team. In addition to steering Movement's best-in-class marketing, as chief marketing officer, Fehling will continue to work closely with Movement's chief information officer, Lyra Waggoner, and her growing tech team to develop and implement new productivity tools to support Movement loan officers and borrowers.
