Movement Mortgage, a top 10 national retail mortgage lender, is proud to announce David Massey has been promoted as the company's new regional director for the central Southeast, including Georgia, Alabama, central and west Tennessee and Arkansas.

Massey will be responsible for overseeing Movement's loan production, recruiting and community involvement in the central Southeast, including major metropolitan markets such as Atlanta, Georgia; Nashville and Memphis, Tennessee; Birmingham, Huntsville, and Mobile, Alabama; and Little Rock, Arkansas. He has led Movement's growth in Georgia for the last five years as a market leader based in Atlanta. Massey has more than 26 years of mortgage industry experience, including leadership roles in retail, wholesale, underwriting and operations.

"I joined Movement Mortgage five years ago to be part of something much bigger than just mortgages. Massey will be based in Atlanta where he lives with his wife of 20 years, Christy, and their son, Alan, and daughters, Andy-Lynne and Sara. Massey is an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. He is also a youth counselor and active member of North Point Community Church.
