However, I did feel like I was chasing for updates at times after providing what I believed was proactive and quick delivery of required lender information and documentation. The construction loan concept is a great example of this. I needed to have a sense of what expectation I should have regarding the interest rate change for a construction loan vs conventional loan, and had I known sooner we'd be looking at such a significant spike in the rate, I would have immediately said 'no' to a construction loan as an option.
