GraceWorks Grants Given to 38 Nonprofits Nationwide

Through our GraceWorks program and our alignment with Karis Management Group, Movement teammates directed $10,000 grants to 38 nonprofits across the country this year, bringing lifetime GraceWorks giving to more than $9 million.

Chosen by the People Who Know These Communities Best

GraceWorks runs on a simple premise: Movement employees serve their communities every day and understand the unique needs of each area better than anyone else could. Movement employees nominate the nonprofits doing work they believe in, and other teammates vote on which ones receive a grant. The result is real money reaching real needs, decided by the people closest to them.

Movement Loans Fund Something Bigger

Every loan Movement closes fuels initiatives that strengthen communities and create opportunities for families to thrive. The latest 38 grants span children's health, veteran support, housing stability, youth mentorship, and more.

A Wish Come True (Northeast)

Grants wishes and provides resources to families with children ages 3–18 facing life-threatening illness. Nominated by Jen Volpe

Abby's Army NC (The Carolinas)

Supports children with pediatric cancer and their families through financial assistance, care packages, and emotional support. Nominated by Sheri Rimel

Ace of Hearts Foundation (Southeast)

Fosters acceptance and supports children with autism and special needs and their families. Nominated by Kayla Stein

American Cancer Society (National)

Improves the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support. Nominated by Blanca Evans

Belong Collective Inc (Pacific Northwest)

Creates social and employment opportunities to empower adults with disabilities and foster inclusion and growth. Nominated by Toni Wood

Bright Futures for Youth (Southwest & California)

Ignites the potential of youth today for vibrant communities tomorrow. Nominated by Heidi Seavers

CASA of Eastern Oregon, Inc (Pacific Northwest)

Recruits and trains volunteer advocates to speak for the best interests of abused and neglected children in court. Nominated by Brittney Scarlett

CASA of Los Angeles (Southwest & California)

Mobilizes trained volunteer advocates to improve the lives of children in the foster care and juvenile justice systems of LA County. Nominated by Jerrod Longoria

Child Advocacy Services (Southeast)

Provides forensic interviewing, counseling, and prevention education for abused and neglected children in southeast Louisiana. Nominated by Kimberly Finley

Crisis Assistance Ministry (The Carolinas)

Provides rent and utility assistance, free clothing, household goods, and financial counseling to families in crisis in Charlotte, NC. Nominated by Tina Pettice

Every Third Saturday (Heartland)

Restores dignity and purpose for veterans by meeting immediate needs, creating meaningful work, and building healing community. Nominated by Tammy Wagner

Fisher House, Inc (American Southwest)

Provides free temporary housing for military and veteran families while a loved one receives treatment at VA or military medical centers. Nominated by D'Angelo Williams

Food For Families (The Carolinas)

Distributes food and essential supplies to families experiencing food insecurity in Union and Anson counties, NC. Nominated by Dale Bishop

Hogs for the Cause (National)

Raises funds through BBQ festivals to provide direct financial grants to families of children with pediatric brain cancer. Nominated by Alyssa McLaughlin, Hung Le, Bryan Chamberlain, and Kendall Chamberlain

Houses of Honor (Heartland)

Humble Design, Inc. (Southwest & California)

Furnishes and decorates homes for families and veterans emerging from homelessness, transforming empty houses into welcoming homes. Nominated by Eddie Belenky

Provides a welcoming, home-like environment for children entering foster care so they never have to wait in a child welfare office. Nominated by Carla Richards

Juju's Mission to Remission (Southeast)

Provides financial support to Central Florida families battling pediatric cancer so they can focus on treatment instead of bills. Nominated by Patrick McDaniel

Latisha's House Foundation (National)

Provides long-term housing and restorative services for women and children who have survived human trafficking in Virginia. Nominated by Keith Freeland

Light of Grace Foundation (Southwest & California)

Works with at-risk youth in forgotten communities by providing mentorship, counsel, and support to help them avoid negative outcomes. Nominated by Aldo Martinez
