Farley team strengthens Movement's presence in Northern Ohio

Movement Mortgage, a national top 10 retail mortgage lender, is excited to announce the addition of John Farley and his team to our Ohio market.

Farley is a Scotsman Guide Top 1% loan originator for 2019 in units and volume. He has consistently performed in the top 1% of originators since 2013, while working for his previous company.

Farley is joined by his brother, Bill Farley, to lead the opening of Movement's Northern Ohio market with a focus on the Cleveland area. Together, they bring more than 15 years of lending experience to the team. Over the last two years, John and Bill Farley have served more than 500 families closing more than $150 million in volume.

When asked why they chose to make the move to Movement Mortgage, John felt as if the culture was a perfect fit and says he saw tremendous opportunity to grow his business.

Movement gives us an opportunity to not only serve families and grow our business, but to do it with a focus on community first," says John Farley.

The Farley Team will serve Northern Ohio under the leadership of Regional Director Mike Brennan. The team's main goal is to build the flagship branch in the Cleveland market and then form other branches in the area. Eventually, Farley sees himself becoming the Northern Ohio Market Leader.

John (NMLS #27360) is married to his high school sweetheart, Amber. They have four beautiful daughters and two dogs. In his spare time, John enjoys playing basketball and engaging in outdoor activities with his family. He is also passionate about giving back to his community through the church they have attended since he was very young. "I am looking forward to being able to do more in my local community and around the world, especially with the Movement Foundation," says John.

Bill Farley (NMLS #1489288) has been in the lending business for more than 15 years. He started with Car Financing, where he spent most of his career, before switching to mortgages in 2016. He is married to his college sweetheart, Kat. Together, they have two little girls, one son and a dog. Like John, Bill enjoys outdoor activities and spending quality time with his family. Aside from lending, he is a self-proclaimed carpenter and master of the honey-do list, so he can fix just about anything!
