Movement Mortgage, a national top 10 retail mortgage lender, is excited to announce the addition of award-winning producer Sherri Boland to the Chattanooga, Tennessee market.

Boland has built an incredible book of production along with a stellar reputation in her 18 years of mortgage industry experience. This year she was once again named Mortgage Banker of the Year from the Chattanooga Mortgage Bankers Association. Boland earned that honor in 2017 as well. In 2017, she was also named Best of Best Mortgage Lender and ranked 15th on the list of Best Mortgage Lenders in Tennessee.

In 2017 Boland closed 215 units equaling $44 million in volume. She bested that in 2018 with 231 units for $47 million. She says joining a company like Movement simply made sense to her from a business and a personal perspective.

“Movement Mortgage is a company with a cultural sense of urgency that matches mine,” says Boland. “I appreciate the intense focus on our customer’s experience.  The mortgage process can be easy again! Also, I love the upfront underwriting which was implemented to provide the customer the best experience possible. All of this is so refreshing.”

Boland will continue to serve the Chattanooga area and report to Market Leader Barbara Courtney.

“It is an incredible honor to have The Sherri Boland Team join our Movement family,” says Courtney. “Sherri brings superior customer service to all she is privileged to serve and understands guidelines far better than most in the industry. Her stellar reputation is wildly apparent with everyone in Chattanooga and I am thrilled to now work alongside her”

Boland is originally from Chattanooga and graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She has been married 22 years to Jason and they have 2 children, Jaxson and Sierra Grace. They were blessed to travel to China in 2013 to adopt Sierra Grace.
